TechX Awards Liability Statement, Photo Release, & Code of Conduct:
Liability Statement: The undersigned does hereby agree to hold harmless and indemnify the Chattanooga Technology Council and the TechX Awards from any and all liability, loss, damages, costs or expenses which are sustained, incurred or required arising out of the actions of attendees of the undersigned at the event.
Photo Release: I understand that the sponsors and event host may take photographs and/or video footage of event participants and activities. I agree that the sponsors and event host shall be the sole owner of this content and may use such photographs and video relating to the promotion of future events.
Code of Conduct: Participants must respect common sense rules for public behavior, personal interaction, common courtesy, and respect for private property. Harassing or offensive behavior will not be tolerated. Harassment includes but is not limited to: deliberate intimidation; stalking; sustained or willful disruption of talks or other events; inappropriate physical contact; use of sexual or discriminatory imagery, comments, or jokes; and unwelcome sexual attention. ChaTech and theTechX Awards reserves the right to revoke, without refund, the membership and badge of any participant not in compliance with this policy. Persons finding themselves in a situation where they feel their safety is at risk or who become aware of an attendee not in compliance with this policy should immediately contact a crew member so that the matter can be handled in an expeditious manner. Please note that conference staff members and volunteers are not trained conflict resolution specialists, nor are they security or law enforcement. Conference staff and volunteers will immediately escalate issues around safety, violence, or similar situations to the Chattanooga Police Department.
